[00:00:00] never come home and she might have just like had your drink me and shit and your shit already on 2k like yo he was I can eat he took he was sounding

[00:00:09] like he was having a bad day my wife ever had to pay up and ready for me I'm gonna have some I'll be thinking she bought a kill me a poison yeah I don't know oh my gosh everybody welcome back to another episode of the According to

[00:00:24] Wes podcast as always got you lawyer yeah got me deep lol the devil son-in-law in the house right now and you got me Wes it's a change of you and a hoodie I'm

[00:00:41] in a beater and in the tank top and I'm like it must be cold as fucking your else right now we'll just say that's a business bit it's a little chilly and you know that's the she takes care of it it's

[00:00:57] controlled by her and you know you got make your own accommodations at that point put your hoodie on if it's hot take the hoodie off so no it's been plenty times I've been like hey like I'll be because I'm in the base of it

[00:01:11] so this shit is more extreme so would she be turning down a thermostat like when in the summertime it'd be cold as shit down here she got oh my bad my why do you have it at like 72 well she's upstairs so it's relatively warmer

[00:01:26] upstairs yeah I got you over having it lower yet might be a little cold down here yeah upstairs you it's it's the ridiculous thing of feeling the biggest temperature difference it's like oh it's so it's it's it's warm up there so we got

[00:01:45] the ceiling fan on but when you come downstairs it feels like it's 72 degrees yeah I mean you know the scientific statement of heat arises so that's how I go you know one thing I would recommend for y'all is get one

[00:02:00] of them portable air conditioner units not the one like the box train that you hang out the out the window but the one you can roll around you just oh yeah it's also is out so she won her room like what y'all run let me maybe her room

[00:02:15] because you want the room like fucking polar bear cool cool cool it in the polar bear toenails in that motherfucker that's the thing to get yeah yeah I think I think part of it cuz when we lived around a corner at the other

[00:02:30] place it would get it will be cool upstairs yeah they had gotten a new they had gotten a you out new outer unit a new furnace it was a new water heater so and they were like yeah you know the house is pressurized so it should the

[00:02:47] temperature that you feel down here is this temperature you just feel upstairs yeah it's a little bit more comfortable over there than us coming here and we have an old outdoor unit and our older furnace so in the grand scheme

[00:03:04] of it I think in order for us to kind of make it more comfortable where it might blow a little better upstairs we might have to look into getting another furnace because I mean you know the furnace can only pump out so much juice for so

[00:03:19] long before it's just yeah they could also have something like when you said I was around a corner maybe it could also just have something to do with how the Sun is what a son is predominantly yet doing you know during the day I mean if

[00:03:34] there's a if you know I don't know if the Sun sits on your house but I know my mom it sits on the front of that house because our room is in the front of

[00:03:42] house so how it was at the other place we had someone behind us so the Sun didn't necessarily hit me that's why when we were recording outside I never was complaining that it was super hot or anything that's we were just in

[00:03:57] there you know whatever and then if the Sun did hit the front of the house it didn't hit it directly not like it hits directly here but I have noticed that if we put it on 75 while we're gone and then like when about to go to bed we

[00:04:14] turn it down or whatever you do feel it get cooler upstairs so part of me thinks it's just the your body used to the temperature of what it is and since the AC is not going to run nonstop all the time you know yeah it's just not

[00:04:31] well you're not gonna feel the difference if you're gonna send me to the whole day you're gonna have to drop it to feel the difference so instead of dropping it I always when generally when she leaves or if we all leave I'll raise

[00:04:43] it up so that when you get in the house you turn down it starts to cool the house off you can feel the difference upstairs too yeah I got one of them I'm trying to control through the internet no that's gonna be my next house

[00:04:58] it's a shit it's been working wonders for me just because like you know I forgot to do this or whatever whatever in the mind you know that's like a shit I ain't got to go and all the particulars but I mean yeah I would

[00:05:13] like something like that where if it's like alright babe we're both gone so let's just turn like especially like the winter time alright well we're both gone let's go ahead and turn the heat down to 72 and then 30 minutes before

[00:05:27] you're on your way home just turn it up to 75 so the house is nice and warm more vice versa like turn you know when we leave it out turn the air down 75 of them maybe 30 minutes to an hour before we get their turn turn it back up

[00:05:43] so that way you're because that way you'll be saving a little bit more money I know in the summertime you save more money than you do with the winter time because BG and he kicks your ass during the winter time during the winter

[00:05:54] time yeah which is the summer time because you're not using as much hot water yeah yeah yeah or the electric side of it but it doesn't run like that you know in some days you can really just open up the windows and let the

[00:06:09] breeze come through if it's the perfect day for it yeah so yeah no that was I would love to have something like that they only like a hundred we got I got I got one I actually I got two when I got the house remember I was telling

[00:06:25] when I got the house there was no AC condenser out there yeah there's a four clothes or whatever so they stole that shit a long time ago so I had to rock with that so I got enough money up to like redo the firm you know the furnace

[00:06:37] and outdoor condenser and shit so I'll bark with two of them but then my fucking came in handy when you know my wife wanted us particular room cool or whatever like if she was in one room doing her nails or you know doing her

[00:06:50] hair and shit and you know lead the rest of the house alone you can ice the fuck up out of that room and you know call it a day I think for when

[00:07:01] we could move into our final home or you know whenever we move again I kind of want a two-story house you still want a two-story house basement and main floor or like basement and main floor okay okay yeah okay or

[00:07:18] split love I'm sorry yeah I'm like yo like oh no I don't want no more is look or our next house I want no more steps that I got to deal with we already got

[00:07:33] woke up 20 steps to the front door then we got a little bit I got one of those townhouses was like oh my god look every person has come over to the house that

[00:07:45] is like older than me and my wife are like yeah I got stairs do you have like a back door you're gonna go through it with that's exactly if you come through back you got woke up enough just the same amount of steps it's just cushion you

[00:07:58] know every time like I'll be like speaking of stairs I'll be looking for houses and shit like all the nice houses like wherever whatever state you in a day the ones out of what that the house on the hill and this this and

[00:08:10] that and you know the wrapping driveway and shit and then you look at them stairs and all I can think of this I'm not fucking carrying them groceries up the motherfuckers yeah so I would I would I would like to split

[00:08:22] level because then it leaves space for let's say we take this big TV we put it in the upstairs part of the house where all the bedrooms and kitchen and stuff is that and then downstairs we another TV where we're not really in you know

[00:08:37] running into each other and then let's say I'm my a a fellas come over let's watch Super Bowl watch whatever you know yeah and it's just a matter of you guys coming through the back door she ain't got to see you that's how it

[00:08:48] that's how it is right now with me you gotta have that separation as a you will want to have that separation of space like they can just come in through the side door whatever I might never come down so you know what I mean like this might be

[00:09:03] it might be a full bathroom downstairs yeah we got to have right now but yeah yeah it just depends on what we get but definitely whatever we get next is going to have a basement and if we do any more than just a split level that

[00:09:19] might have to go up another floor I think we're going to try to make sure it's like as minimum stairs like like door as possible like oh I see what you're saying yeah steps is see the front door steps is is the killer the rest of these steps

[00:09:36] it's only 14 steps to go from where I'm at now up to this thing because I walk the steps at least four times a day in the morning I just counted you know

[00:09:51] you pull exercise or just because that's your routine like the like um if I'm exercising and I'm like let me just walk the stairs like four times real quick to throw something in there to

[00:10:02] add to it then I'll do it but generally it's just because I always I'm like oh shit I left this upstairs and come back down oh shit I left this upstairs and I come back

[00:10:11] down that will upstairs how I use the bathroom we gotta come back down and that's all within like 15 minutes of this oh is that shit we we still young to a degree now we super young my my

[00:10:24] mother my mother-in-law like her her townhouse lovely townhouse I love the fuck out of that townhouse it's just so many stairs and when I say so many stairs so many stairs and they

[00:10:35] build solid as a motherfucker solid ass stairs where you walk up them and they talk for some reason like the landing is kind of yeah you have to lift your legs up to uh you know and that's in

[00:10:50] the house not even you know she's when you come into it like it's you know flat surface or whatever so as soon as you come in hallway you know laundry shed garage grown back there and then you go up the stairs and I'm like

[00:11:09] nice townhouse like if if if I was uh nah I don't even think that was um if I could fly yeah I mean just glide up the stairs yeah but I could not see myself

[00:11:24] see if me and my wife and wife and met each other younger and we had gotten a townhouse like the one when we first moved a boy that was like one like three stories you could get through that

[00:11:35] because we still being in but we would have still had to do like my parents and brought something else they got they end up getting a two-story a basement plus the main floor plus

[00:11:44] the bedroom floor yeah so they ended up buying one of those which you know obviously they don't go in the basement because they have someone that lives down there so they just deal with their

[00:11:53] main floor yeah at some point I mean it's something we're going to have to move into that sort of situation because those stairs those stairs ain't friendly and you know by the time we

[00:12:04] by the time we end up moving the kids should be gone um he may or may not it just depends on what the market looks like and what he's you know once he gets his certifications finds a

[00:12:17] good paying job you know but y'all could always uh I was just talking to somebody about this and I'm pretty sure you probably y'all probably thought about this um have it that just depends on how

[00:12:30] y'all are at the time whenever the time is what a lot of people do they'll um they'll have the kids buy the house from the uh from the parent um and and it's on paper right you bought this

[00:12:42] house with this amount of money this this and that but so truly help the kid out let's just say the house is 300 thou they'll probably get a kid 200 thou back and it's like all right

[00:12:54] this is going towards the mortgage so technically you got this nice ass house you still paying something towards it you're gonna get your tax benefits and shit like that but this is for that

[00:13:04] yeah I think that's what uh my fraternity brothers parents did they um their house was paid off and they ended up selling them the house or like the low no you don't sell it for the low

[00:13:16] they wanted to keep it in the family so they gave it to the kid but they did it for like when I say the low I mean order no you mess up the market by selling it for the low you mess up the

[00:13:25] neighbors you just fucked the neighbors at that point I mean the house still you know so you don't mess up the market by selling it low to your children you mess up the

[00:13:35] market when you don't keep your shit up and it doesn't appraise for the rest of the houses in the market yo but I always thought like if like well like for the comps like oh I got the

[00:13:44] same thing like let's just say somebody got the two houses are pretty much the same or whatever and it was like well that house down the street sold for a hundred thou or 200 thou less than that then

[00:13:54] that's what your house is worth that that is a thing that is a thing no I'm not saying that's not a thing I'm just saying how they did it to get give them they pretty much was giving them

[00:14:05] the house the parents were moving and they didn't know the house and nobody ran them so they practically kind of gave them the house and all they pay is the taxes on the house so the house

[00:14:16] is still paid off the taxes on the house so if they ever wanted to sell the house and decided to appraise their house then the house would appraise for how it appraises based on what's around them

[00:14:33] so they do look at what's sold like I think when we got our house they looked at a house that had just so we had bidder in the house but we didn't get it but that house and then a house like down

[00:14:44] the street somewhere and then they came up with their appraisal for ours which came out to be like a 10,000 less than what we offered and so luckily in Maryland you don't you know if you did

[00:14:57] something you ain't got paid you just really just negotiate the thing but my co-worker from North Carolina said that uh they didn't like that down there whatever you say you're going bid

[00:15:09] or what you gonna pay that's what you're gonna that's what you're gonna pay yeah they don't care how that appraises oh you see the house preys at 450 and you and you say you're gonna give us 540 you give enough 540

[00:15:26] I was like oh okay man everything about the housing market man that's how you go for from appliances to buying a house to selling the house to maintaining it to heating it and cooling it and like yo I'll say this before if anything was ever

[00:15:49] to happen that me and my wife you know got forbid both laws or jobs or something the first thing we would do would be sell the house because that's where all our money is yeah you know say at least

[00:16:01] if we sell the house it may be let's say and let's say this well down the road where if we sold we'll get like maybe two three hundred thousand or something you know saying we can go from there

[00:16:14] so can we let's find something in this price range here and let's just boom let's just pay it off and then now we only got paid the tax on it that would be like the plan plan you know man if anything

[00:16:27] ever kind of happened all right so I mean I don't see that happening but you know you always kind of prepare for anything yeah you got to that would be my that would be my thing like if we

[00:16:42] can sustain and find something quickly cool but if not the next best thing would be is to sell the house you got a couple months before they come and say we're going foreclose

[00:16:56] getting it up to date and whatever and selling it and selling some of the furniture and whatever and getting your money yeah it's what it is yeah you gotta do and a lot of times I mean because

[00:17:06] I think our house our house value has gone up since we've been here because the houses around us like you said are going up to a degree that's everybody right about now just because how

[00:17:21] crazy everything is everybody got some equity in this shit yeah so because I was looking at how much we had as far as equity if we did want to sell like today and I was like all right

[00:17:32] we're going to value the house now and then how much we've already paid on it I'm gonna say we can estimate about maybe 30 30 grand maybe that's enough for down payment somewhere where we wouldn't have to worry about you know depending on how much the house is

[00:17:51] at the market if the market stayed away I got like 150 yeah I if you know when we decided to buy a new house and sell we gotta make sure we do it when the interest rates are low specifically

[00:18:06] for if we're moving yeah you know even it's just sweet spot five because that's mine why is that three no I mean like if you're gonna wait to see if it gets down to three

[00:18:17] I mean I'm gonna say my sweet spot is like a four four and a half if it gets that low mine's four and a half five because I don't I don't think we want to see two or three

[00:18:27] anytime soon yeah I don't think we're gonna see any time soon but that's my that's my sweet spot really just yeah if if if I look up and this is that it's back to three is like all right let's sell

[00:18:41] and buy quickly yeah I just think it'll be too long before I don't want to wait like 15 years I can see I can see right so I can see four and a half five within two to three and that's

[00:18:56] no good time for it for me you know what I mean 15 years me waiting just to see I mean that's a double two two three percent was a once in a lifetime thing yeah

[00:19:09] two well no no no when was it ever two and three before uh because automatic I forgot why ours automatic three we know we had an FHA so ours came to a they said I got around but I got the

[00:19:24] yeah I got that we're doing the time that everyone was getting houses so the interest rate was low oh yeah so that's what I'm saying like when I first got mine and mine in 2016 the average was five

[00:19:36] uh mid fours high fours five and six I had got a six percent when I first got this also when when everything that started happening came around six percent to two percent or two two and a half

[00:19:51] or two high two my monthly rate stayed the same wow cashed out like a motherfucker put the shit back into the house and do repairs and other stuff like that so so you just at that point

[00:20:03] you just refinanced at that point yeah I reset no but also I'm like interested I will love for this to for us to see that again but I can't even remember I can't I'm gonna look it up

[00:20:15] I don't remember a time in history like even my mom my mom said even when she got a house the shit was like seven six during that time I'm pretty sure your parents was going to say something

[00:20:25] like that too this that was like a five or six so that's sound and then you know the the the financial crunch in the 70s so that that sounds like uh the norm mid like mid fours

[00:20:39] it's probably the lowest and then the average is like five six seven is just some shit that no man eight is what people ain't never seen before yeah because we were talking about refinancing

[00:20:50] the house at some point down the road but neither one of us knew how it worked and I was like well refinancing doesn't that just drop our payments do we get any money she's like I don't

[00:21:00] know I just you can get a cash out you know about it now right cash out refining okay cash out refinance that's what I did so basically you take some of the money in your pocket from the

[00:21:12] equity of the house so since I got mine for clothes it was already had equity built in when I bought the house so when the housing market went up I had uh even more equity so I took some of that out

[00:21:24] I didn't take out the max and I put it back into the house to do repairs uh not repairs renovations because I didn't have anything broken right so I did all that and um I gave myself

[00:21:36] a savings so some money I put away in another account that I ain't even one touch and my my rate stayed the same only because I was only paying I wasn't paying a lot in my mortgage anyway and

[00:21:48] the interest rates went long so you can do a cash out refinance it's it sets you back at zero as far as like how many years you've been paying your mortgage starts you off with a new mortgage

[00:22:01] essentially so if you do it just be if you do it it's kind of like yo like if you do it now right in interest rate seven you got your yaza at three right yeah three you're going to be paying

[00:22:16] more money a month because the interest rate is at a seven so I was like yeah you took the money you did the cash out refinance but yeah and even if you didn't do a cash out refinance

[00:22:27] let's just say you did a refinance because you wanted to pay a lower rate your chances are you're not paying a lower rate because the interest rates aren't lower so it's not wise for you to do a refinance that's why some people aren't a tricky spot

[00:22:38] because it's like if I got a three if I'm on refinance it makes sense to do it at a two or one right if you're going to refinance you gotta do it at something lower you don't want to

[00:22:48] never do it at something higher hell no so if the money's up basically that's why I'm like I'm waiting for a fight because I'm gonna have to upgrade the forward to make sense right like

[00:22:58] because I was just I was thinking about it's like man I said one I need to get my my credit score back up two you know because my wife's credit score has started going back up since she says

[00:23:09] we got the house hers went back up and she's been keeping everything down so her credit score is actually I believe hired in mind at this moment um depending on what you're looking at

[00:23:20] my FICO or my FICO whatever it is it's still in the low sevens but I think hers is like up there like it's not perfect but it's a little high to mine but that's because of my credit usage

[00:23:36] my credit is high it's high because uh you know money been tight I got you but then you know and thinking about it I'm like man I said if I can just discipline myself to get it down

[00:23:49] and have lower payments you know as I go the credit card thing won't be an issue and I'll be able to have more money in my pocket yeah but that you know that's tough once your credit cards get

[00:23:59] up that high your money is always tight you gotta it's literally gotta bring in more money just or like hit the lottery or something or just come and come into an influx of a you know

[00:24:10] something to put a huge dent in it like it does get crazy even if I even if I can pay off like if someone say look I'm gonna give you let's say someone decided won't give me

[00:24:25] 20 grand right 20 grand is a nice round number to put on my credit cards because I already got two that will cut them almost completely in half I mean 20,000 is a little more than half but it will cut it in half which will make those minimums

[00:24:43] the lower which means that now I could pay the minimum and then whatever else I have I can pay on to the interest you know so pretty much putting more in there anyway to make sure that

[00:24:57] I'm paying it down faster versus the minimum that'd be 30 years right because I know I think I got at one point it's like oh you'll pay it off in three years if you pay 319 dollars a month

[00:25:09] I'm like oh that's easy and I did it for two and a half I said that did it for a little more than two and a half when the pabbit was my radiator on my car went out oh damn and so I had to I had

[00:25:22] to put 1500 on it and you know like anyone else you've been disciplined not spending the money on it now we're setting you to open the floodgates and he's just using it because what is already on there

[00:25:36] yeah I trust me I get that shit something like whenever you're trying to be responsible shit is just screaming pay me like right now uh I can't get a cold and my wife yeah and my wife

[00:25:50] was like oh no we got insurance and this this and that and I was like chances are because she had took her to the vet Friday and I was like chances are they're going to actually pay something

[00:26:01] that same day I was not expecting 250 dollars so I had to write so I had to pay on my payday it should always happen to me when my payday would survive like yoke it out hold something or

[00:26:14] this this and that I was just like all right and then she was like well you get reimbursed I'm okay and she's like oh hold up I forgot the first deductible was 100 dollars so I'm like

[00:26:24] so I'm out of a hundred dollars off the reimbursement off the rip and she was like yeah so I'm only getting 100 but the cat is in bad shape not in bad bad shape but you know she you know

[00:26:37] I water ran she sneezes in and shit like that so right but it's like stuff like like there's always something like to this weekend I mean not this weekend but this paycheck I was like oh

[00:26:47] shit I got some money to myself I handle my responsibilities maybe I buy these shoes that I just saw yeah I'd be like that too sometimes it's just best not to even think it but you know

[00:27:07] life adult shit stuff like that you should know better than to be thinking that you'll be able to do with your money except give it back to some eye or some type of entity what you want

[00:27:24] to you want clothes you want a burger oh these bills hey these bills yo I was uh I was editing something right that's kind of easy to the topic editing the clip and do you remember yo okay

[00:27:39] I'll put aside from that remember I told you the story how about the whoop that niggas ass invite him to shop yeah I told my wife that story finally I never told I forgot I didn't

[00:27:47] realize I never told her that story she was like you had that much patience because we were sitting outside uh doing some romantic shit like just sipping wine and sitting on the serene porch eating she had her Lord Chipotle burrito I had some food she cooked yesterday and

[00:28:01] shit so we sitting there talking and drinking and shit and um I told her that she was like you had that much patience I was like fuck yeah that much patience I was like I was like one it

[00:28:11] was raining two had these crops on I was like three I he was like I was telling I was like he was all of 160 I wanted to like take him and just drag him across all the I was all the shelves and fucking

[00:28:23] buy them a shot I definitely would have went to jail and it would have looked like I picked on him and she was just like god damn yeah you was about to start bullying her

[00:28:37] I was telling I was like I could have gave him a wedgie I could have set him on top of the on top you know how you sit somebody on top of the like well I don't know if you ever did this

[00:28:44] but you might sit somebody on top of the fence by the drawers or by the pants and shit I could have set him on top of the door you know what I mean like by his hood by his hood or by

[00:28:53] his shirt and shit I said I could have done a lot of shit yeah I could have done a lot of shit but I chose not to but I say that to say man I was having like a little romantic

[00:29:02] little you know situation chilling and shit like that and I was doing some editing one of the clips that I'm gonna put on YouTube and it made me well one of the clips I was editing

[00:29:18] was like I don't know if you remember this what I was telling you like the first time a girl ever like our first time I ever got some type of a girl recognizing what I was about and who I was

[00:29:32] and she was just trying to cater to me and every small little way was when she bought Oreos to my job you remember us talking about that I don't know I remember it doesn't either there

[00:29:46] have you had me thinking I'm like damn uh do guys have romantic things happen to them like what is the what like the you know like our our woman's uh idea of romance is no

[00:30:01] of course quite different than our idea of romance and I don't think I ever talked to any of the guy about like yo because I don't I'm I'm uh how could I put it I'm gonna

[00:30:16] guess that you don't consider the word romance as romance you consider romance for you was like showing appreciation and and where's the affirmation and shit like that or just a gesture

[00:30:27] right you don't care about the flowers and the blah blah blah blah blah but you can see it as being quote unquote romantic right again I think uh women and men just have a different

[00:30:40] perspective on what romance is I think it's more of the act versus more of the giving if that makes sense no you would think that I've dated two types and married one type that two types of thoughts

[00:30:53] with that so my question what is the most quote unquote romantic something that's done for you not by their standards by our standards oh no I knew you was probably gonna say that because I thought the same thing I'm like

[00:31:22] yo I know what the standards are like it's not going to be like oh I got flowers and dinner cookery or anything like that it'll be that for them it'd be that for them like I guess romance for us

[00:31:33] I guess for the standards that I get some oh my that's not the bar for you man I cannot be the bar for you I mean is it I'll say this um I never really thought of it because as far as romance I've

[00:31:53] only heard romance come from one side and it's not and it's not my side it's like oh as far as oh this is romantic oh you know we need more romance it that doesn't necessarily run into my head of oh well

[00:32:06] she did this for me that was romantic I would I would never address my wife saying this is right that's why that's why I preface it as that's not we won't even use that but we might use like yo

[00:32:17] she was very uh she was uh appealing to the needs of me she was uh attentive she was giving you know affirmation she was appreciative she was text oh my gosh I think he ain't never come home and she might just like had your drink made and

[00:32:37] shit and your shit already on 2k like yo he's he was i can eat he was sounding like he was having a bad day if my wife ever had 2k up and ready for me I'd be shitting my daps up I'll be thinking she

[00:32:50] about to kill me or poison me I don't know oh my gosh but uh she had like when the pandemic first started and this before we got married she did see when I got home she would have a couple of noodles

[00:33:04] ready for me like water and I was she'd be like oh you know I'll be like oh you're gonna be home at this time and I guess you get it right now come on oh you couple of noodles over there so okay

[00:33:15] because she knows I was literally walking in the house and walking upstairs to go to her it was literally just a quick boom that's definitely showing that she at that time she about you

[00:33:29] yeah because that's because of my head like I might ain't that what that is for a woman like yo they just want to make sure that we are about them we're showing uh some type of love

[00:33:38] or effort of like yo show me that you love me romance is usually you know it's typically that if I'm not wrong then wanting us to show you know gestures and shit like that that we love them

[00:33:50] and we care for them we cherish them and shit so the fact that she had a couple of noodles ready for you I mean in my head not equivalents over the shit that they make us do like by

[00:34:00] shit but you know what I mean it's still the same thing I mean I pay for the couple noodles but you go into semantics but you get what I mean I give what you mean here

[00:34:18] well yeah man I was just like damn because when I was when I was uh when I was doing the edit this shit I'm like damn that was the baseline and I didn't even know that was the baseline

[00:34:30] of like what a man should be getting at the age because I was only 22 so I wasn't even thinking about it like that I was just like okay it felt weird I'm like it felt weird because I'm like oh

[00:34:41] a girl got me something it wouldn't even like uh you know I was trying to get her to get it was just like with some oreos like hey I thought about you you like oreos here you go like that

[00:34:50] type of shit I mean I've heard girls that said that they um feel it I mean I was I forgot what bar was that but it was like a couple years ago she was like oh yeah it was a bar to she was like

[00:35:02] yeah you know I uh when I see my man I I kiss his feet I rub his feet I rub his hands I rub his head I'm like oh okay I don't really care about that she's like you wouldn't care like you I'm like no

[00:35:17] I think it's I mean yeah I'm like I don't know if I would want someone rubbing my feet I mean they could rub my feet there you go but at the end of the day it's like

[00:35:30] all right well that's cool and all yeah nine times out of ten you know at the time I'm working out of a well so are you sure you want me to take my socks off and you rub my feet like that sounds

[00:35:41] well maybe it's after you take a shower maybe it could be yep is she yelling easy you need that after the shower oh that's a tons of kid oh well yeah um you know I mean you know but you're

[00:35:55] getting the shower pretty early I try to get in there before she's like starts doing her stuff to get ready like I was mopping in real quick brush my teeth taking a shower and that's kind of put

[00:36:04] my lounge clothes on until it's time to go yeah so yeah I mean yeah I mean well stuff like that like it's you know just like women is uh not every woman is the same not every man is the same

[00:36:15] I personally don't really require any anything like that foot massage right now and it's kind of cool but just like I dated women that say I don't really like flowers so you don't have to give me flowers

[00:36:25] and one woman I was just like oh fuck I had two women say that the one said that because she just the legitimate didn't see the uh the reason in that another one I was right another one

[00:36:35] did and said that because she wanted shit like actual gifts so I'm like I was like this one is the this one is the half me you know because it's kind of like like the one at the first one she would be

[00:36:47] cool with chocolates who give her like you know rice something on a yo pussy was bomb yesterday you go yeah I mean I get it I know um like me and my wife we used to get gifts but now it's more

[00:37:07] like a car maybe dinner you know like you know I think as money becomes untight then we'll probably go back to like how it was beforehand but because money's been tight

[00:37:21] is we just kind of do what we can yeah to not break the bank like for Christmas we pretty much get everything almost everything off amazon and put it under the tree and put a name on it says all

[00:37:33] right that's your shit because you put your box pillow your knife and let's open in this room that's what we're looking at yeah like uh like with the as far as like the romantic thing I think for me

[00:37:53] um usually when my wife just like has everything handled and I ain't really got because I'm always how could I put it like if I see stuff out of order I'm one of these like like if I see stuff

[00:38:04] out of order like in the house or in my surroundings my brain I can't think straight so it's more or less like yo if I see stuff dirty or junky I automatically want to do it but

[00:38:14] sometimes you come home you don't want to do it or you know what I mean like or if you had already did something you don't want to do it so you know I know that sound

[00:38:22] crazy what I'm about to say but usually like yo when my wife got shit in order and I'm able to easily flow through all the house to you know to do things and you know and I try

[00:38:33] to do the same thing for her because she actually has a she has OCD and shit like that so I know that that should affect we back and forth we doing that for each other like if I'm cutting it

[00:38:42] like if I could spend the two hours cutting the grass or doing whatever I don't really want to come in the house and do too much of anything or something. She'll purchase stuff to keep things

[00:38:51] organized like we used to have like I want to say we used to have a bag of like forks and knives and plastic forks and knives and spoons right just all in there we used to put the paper towels wherever

[00:39:05] you could fit them in. I come in the house one day and I'm like what the hell is this happening I'm looking around she didn't take she didn't separate the forks and knives

[00:39:15] all into three different bags there was no she put them in one bag and I put them in three different bags because I was like oh this makes complete sense to put them in here because I think at first we

[00:39:28] had them either in the kit with the rest of the silverware was so you kind of had to search through it and not like baggies to like a marinade something and I was like oh okay this you know

[00:39:45] then she took it put them all in and I said oh why don't we just take them and put them in three different ones so that all you gotta do is reach in there and take what you need so instead of like

[00:39:54] searching for a fork you go to the fork bag or you go to the spoon bag and then she brought this thing she put the paper towels in we do now we just fill it up and make it look neater

[00:40:05] she even got like a little thing I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be like a clothes hamper but we use it for our toilet paper like a little circular thing we put all our toilet paper in there yeah

[00:40:15] we got one of my wife does my listen my wife do the same she should do she do that shit too and I appreciate that because it's not like that's that's not romanced I mean that's not in

[00:40:24] the sense of women but I'm like yo you making my life easier with stuff that I didn't even think was a thing right and and I'm I'm I'm flowing through the house and I'm getting stuff done like

[00:40:35] quicker or whatever I have you are not really thinking about it and it makes you so that you you know where it goes so if it's you know where it goes you know where it goes I mean

[00:40:45] every two weeks is not like all right let me find somewhere to put these I got two minutes like oh okay boom this goes exactly the remainder on top of it and then the other two right

[00:40:58] in front of this so that way you can just easy grabbing you keep going and then for the toilet paper is just the toilet paper was the hardest one because you gotta actually take this toilet

[00:41:06] paper out and actually put it in there because at first so at first so everything she did to make it organized was cool um like the toilet paper thing we were just dumping the toilet paper in

[00:41:17] there so I was like we're losing a lot of spaces dumping it in here so again I started just putting them in there because I think we could get like seven in there and started layering it up

[00:41:28] and then one day because it was just a one that's just so much that's all just took them out did that and I realized you know you have a full thing of toilet paper so now we do that and now

[00:41:39] even when she comes in and she's like oh let me I put them in there she just she puts them in there just the same way so that is all layered up and I'm losing space because you know we just

[00:41:48] dump stuff in there you're losing space space yeah so you ain't doing your right you're not uh taking your lessons from Tetris yep 36 rolls of toilet paper you throw them in there and then

[00:42:01] you like oh man it's so much toilet paper when you actually layer those rows up you're like damn I barely made it to the top so yeah but it was you know it's a good mind fuck sometimes

[00:42:14] when you do it like that so it looks like you have a lot yeah when you Tetris that shit you know you have a lot yeah yeah I guess uh organization is one of the things man for men well I would hope so

[00:42:26] like not that doesn't sound crazy them improving your life I want to say organization because that's sound that sounds that sounds a little bit more uh minimal you know what I mean but

[00:42:36] them doing things to improve your life that's it I ain't gonna say it's romantic but it's greatly fucking appreciated it shows that you're about me you know what I mean yeah yeah and then

[00:42:46] then we're more willing to get the hey I've been thinking about you I love you that's going on you know a night out on the town or you know what I mean let's go have a picnic in the park type

[00:42:55] shit because I'm like yo it's not like you scratch my back I scratch yours but it's just more less like if you care about her and you see her doing shit like that you ain't gonna have no

[00:43:04] problem you know reciprocating that shit so yeah because I don't know for sure she um a lot of stuff she's organized or she's put together so if she thinks it needs to be organized she'll order something like this is what you're doing

[00:43:20] okay yeah I ain't gonna lie I do that to my wife sometimes too because sometimes she'll um we do that to each other actually um we're weird because like the one the last thing that I bought was uh

[00:43:34] there's a thing that you can put your aluminum foil your wax paper and your saran wrapping right like the rolls and then it has a little thing where you just kind of slide the thing up to cut

[00:43:45] a slice off I was like all right you putting every putting these in here I labeled them this is where you go to get this at and then before that she had bought a thing for napkins

[00:43:56] I mean not toilet paper towels not napkins she bought a thing for paper towels and uh what is it called sandwich bags so I was just like all right so we constantly doing shit like that yeah like

[00:44:11] like don't need someone to buy something to organize it as if I really see a real need from it but that's just on my side of it because I'm like ah because you know you know looking at it from a guy

[00:44:21] he's like oh yeah whatever I'm gonna be nah my brain don't be my brain be uh listen it gets to the point remember we were some algorithms the other day and wasn't my algorithm another thing that's in my algorithm right now is um

[00:44:39] be following these white girls these home uh these stay-at-home moms and their amazon hacks as far as like uh storage and uh how to use this uh would they use their uh steam their steam cleaner

[00:44:53] for and shit like that and in my head I'm just like yes I need that I need that not no bullshit I'd be like yo I need that type of storage or all my shoes and go on there and it's a table when I

[00:45:04] could put my my other but we'll put this over here I could save so much space because we ain't wearing one a lot of space in this house either so that's like anything that's gonna save me

[00:45:12] space and function and flow and it feels bigger I'm all for that yeah we're not working with a lot of space in here um and that's what probably want to be a reason why I'm like yeah I'm ready

[00:45:23] kind of I don't really to move but I'm kind of ready to get some yeah just to get more space I told my wife I told my wife I told my wife the same thing I was like I would like to have some

[00:45:35] type of pantry and I would like to have an honest uh like an ensuite bathroom to the master those are two main things that I want yeah I mean I you know I'm starting I just want to

[00:45:45] basement yeah yeah yeah I mean I'm saying that like because yours is gonna be an upgrade mine will be upgrade too I still want to keep the stuff that I have but I just want those two

[00:45:55] things yeah because I mean the way I always see it is always um with the basement we can keep all the stuff we still have is just be adding to it so instead of us so if it's like all right

[00:46:08] well I want to get me a little elliptical bike or or bike in general like a little whatever if it's a big enough basement we could put things down there the video games can go down there and

[00:46:19] we still have the area where we watch tv together the bedroom we probably still have a tv and then we have our own little separate place we can do so so if she wants her to have like a reading

[00:46:30] room or like a meditation room where if the doors closed don't bother me negative type of shit you like look I didn't already start in my session so the door is closed

[00:46:43] whatever you know I made her a sign one time because she had turned the office into like her like little sanctum I had got her a sign that said uh please do not bother you have two hands

[00:47:00] two legs you can figure it out that's a nice sign she was like oh my lord you didn't have to put all that and I laminated too that's a nice sign I think I had made a couple different ones was like uh

[00:47:15] if the doors closed this is my quiet time please do not disturb like I wrote I get I did signs that were like funny but I did one I did a couple that were like serious where it was like

[00:47:27] um if doors closed please do not disturb knock first if I do not answer please come back later like like real shit you know so something she could kind of yeah yeah I mean so shit at that point at

[00:47:40] that point you definitely showing some uh you definitely showing a different level of care yeah yo you know what's crazy like speaking to that uh different level of care I always told

[00:47:50] now I always told myself I was talking to somebody I was like no I was talking I I forget who it was it was a bunch of I don't say it was a bunch of girls a couple uh women or

[00:48:01] whatever and some men a group of us and uh one lady was like um uh sometimes foreplay with your wife starts as soon as you wake up and she was like I think man you talked about it too was

[00:48:14] just like making sure she's straight so when it comes time for you to you know put that pressure on her she ain't gotta think twice about it like well shit he did do this he did do that

[00:48:24] yeah that's like it so I'm pretty sure that that gave you some brownie points here and there whenever that happened and you know he was good to go he was good to go he said no I said I hope so oh I mean like stuff like that

[00:48:43] like even I mean stuff like that all right you know I'll just let me take care of that whatever like there's just certain things in the house that we just we take care of independently and

[00:48:53] it's just kind of like this unspoken thing that that's what you take care of like even like changing the air filters on and you know for the return air in the furnace you know man

[00:49:02] yeah so her she's like that's your job and like even for like Leo's little water bowl um because we got him a little um I think he told us about

[00:49:14] a little yeah or whatever we gotta want to do so I you know every two weeks I clean it you know clean it put some soap in it whatever change the water because the water only lasts for about a

[00:49:30] week anyway with that little nigga be drinking water yeah I mean it's good at he drinking water yeah y'all don't give him sink water do y'all no we give him the refrigerator water okay because

[00:49:46] it's filtered I'm pretty sure doesn't make a difference we used to give them just regular faucet water for the longest anyway dog do y'all drink faucet water um not me particularly I drink

[00:49:59] I get my water out of a bottle because when I go to work I need to have it accessible versus hey let me go up I made some water so I choose mine on deck but um before we got the cat we used to give them

[00:50:16] just regular water and then um or somewhere down the road we ended up I ended up buying the refrigerator because I was tired of bending over um outside of bending over trying to get

[00:50:30] stuff off the bottom of shoving this shit it was rough and a freak all this shit and I was like man I'm gonna get new fridges I got a new refrigerator and a new and I got a new um so

[00:50:41] I think I got the oven first and then the refrigerator and then that's and once we did that then we started giving him refrigerator water gotcha um you started giving a refrigerator

[00:50:53] water because that water was already filtered gotcha it filters it more I mean not that tap water is not filtered it goes to a lot of things but yeah he gets refrigerated water and then his

[00:51:07] little water fountain has a uh has a uh little filter in it anyway so he has the best water possible right now so and I clean it every every week so he's he good yesterday was Leo's birthday

[00:51:27] he's 28 shit I love that girl I ain't that some shit she 14 I just don't remember when she turned it yep she uh he Leo turned 28 yesterday we had to look up how old he was in cat years so

[00:51:42] we looked the they like dog ears right no no they so these are the rule that I went and that's what we're just gonna go by for at this point it was after the first the first year they age 15 years

[00:51:55] so they're practically a grown adult the next year they age nine years and in every sequential year after that or every year after that they only age four so oh she 22 god damn

[00:52:10] so you know Leo's uh Leo's a solid 24 I mean 28 sorry no it was a solid 28 and you know the first of Leo he's turning 12 he's still a little kitten and she's like no let's look this up so we can

[00:52:29] know how old he's turning in cat years not human years kind of he's turning 28 years so so he growing out one of you sleeping around the house all day he'd be tired no he's lazy most cats lazy and today

[00:52:43] and today activated like sometimes um I've gotten to cat talk sometimes we put uh like when we leave or whatever leave like a youtube uh I don't know if y'all do this youtube video like a cat video

[00:52:55] for birds and shit like that man that little girl be activated like a motherfucker doing the chatter and this shit smacking the tv I'm like all right we can't watch this one

[00:53:09] y'all do that if our tv was mounted to the wall maybe oh yeah yeah okay I got you by the time we get another cat well y'all not getting another cat she already said that yeah I'm just saying if it

[00:53:24] ever happens I don't give it we're gonna have to mount the tv because we got lucky that Leo didn't push over the tv oh geez because the tv that's in the bedroom was a tv that was down here at first

[00:53:39] and he would get behind and he had a whole whole frame with some water and shit like what you doing no no we ain't doing that and when we got this tv he tried it but he knew you know we

[00:53:51] you gonna get super so well we pretty much you know we we trained him well he doesn't he stopped getting on the kitchen table when he was young he never got on the kitchen counter he doesn't get

[00:54:03] to go behind a tv anymore like I think as he got around to about one year old he would go behind it and walk when he was small but now he's bigger he doesn't do all that yeah but those kitten years

[00:54:20] uh uh with the with a tv like this I didn't take that little nigga back to the uh adoption he broke my tv but then we're like sir if you don't leave out of here with that cat because he broke your tv

[00:54:35] you know i'm waiting about against that that's a whole another uh yeah so so all in all what were we talking about oh yeah so to wrap up the the so it sounds like you on board where I'm at like what a most romantic thing

[00:54:57] that someone has done for you is there's just more that's just like making your life easier my life make my life easier yeah pretty much yeah exactly what it was and you know what's crazy though that shit part just built in the

[00:55:11] into us you know how they say woman's supposed to be your helpmate that doesn't mean that they wait on you hand and foot that just means depending on how your lifestyle is or what your life is

[00:55:19] help me out motherfucker and you won't get protected and provided for and all this other stuff right yeah no yeah if we see y'all you know i'm working with a hard you know situation going on help me out

[00:55:34] yeah my shit we can make those jokes because we married yeah pretty much yeah yeah well yeah man um yeah that's yeah that made me think i'm just like damn

[00:55:54] like I was talking I was also talking to my wife about I was saying something I was like um I forgot what it was I was just like men really ain't that we would talk about me and her or

[00:56:07] whatever or something like that we were talking about something but we got into the conversation like giving gifts and shit I was like man really don't be wanting a bunch of shit or just no this is

[00:56:16] what we were talking about right we were talking about um how much does it really cost to maintain a woman right so it was kind of like like if it's your wife she stay at home like it she ain't

[00:56:25] got no bills I was like for real for real it only costs maybe about $1,000 a month and I was like to something then maybe I said maybe maybe if you've written a room what do you mean because if she

[00:56:42] if you if you paint everything that includes your mortgage air all that I was looking at more around I want to say two to three no phone bill party 40 you ain't gotta get it the most expensive

[00:56:59] shit that's remember we're going back to that you just have to make sure that her needs are met right so phone bill minimum of 50 it's number one she ain't got no bills remember right she's living

[00:57:09] with you so whatever you got is what you got you was already doing that right so let's just say what 1800 for living quarters maybe yeah so you got living calm bill pay right phone bill paid

[00:57:24] pay you buying food she cooking it so food is what like $300 a month or something like that maybe four if you're lucky so let's just say full full 50 right so full 450 she partake in that $50 for the

[00:57:40] phone uh and if you want a car you can get her a little something that you can get her like you know $300 $400 no I know that's kind of crazy right now because that's not a thing

[00:57:52] no it's not a thing however no no it is what I don't know right it is it just depends on how you worked your situation you know what I mean so you could get that depending on how you work your

[00:58:04] situation and so I'm walking around money every two weeks what $200 every two weeks yeah that's not bad so we was talking about that I said I was like and if it was a guy you know you

[00:58:19] probably want a fucking new video game yeah and that's $70 we was almost just comparing to this shit I was like yeah I was like no matter how you slice it like the women can have their needs

[00:58:32] taken care of they want to live instagram fabulous right we just want to live we just want to live comfortably be happy I was like most of us like I'd be happy with a game and maybe some shoes

[00:58:45] every every quarter of the year every three months a pair shoes a game maybe every month right the clothes once or twice a year right summer clothes you know the spring the summer and then the fall the winter clothes like you know like your parents would do when

[00:59:03] it was back to school year like yo right in two pairs you know you get one pair for sale December or whatever you get another pair when you're birth license shit like that like yeah

[00:59:13] cool that yeah yeah and woman that's how you show love to us like you spray cause I would have video game every couple months something yeah that's romantic oh yeah i'm gonna get you this new

[00:59:27] 2k what oh yo but one of us have me get you a new two no one did it take so much time away from her that's romantic yeah that's romantic as fuck but yeah uh not no everybody keeps the romance alive

[00:59:44] keep the romance alive no matter how you doing it keep your keep your person um keep your person happy yeah more dick sucks will gain your uh future even if you provide nor overseas thank you thank you for tuning in and uh see you next time you
