Getting Beat Out Your Shoes

What are your top three anxieties as a husband and father(figure)?

The anxieties that men have about fatherhood and being a husband are warranted and some are just plain foolish. As always we meet somewhere in the middle...

[00:00:00] Yo, I definitely think about the life as far as like my wife, definitely leaving her money and shit like that. And I know what I'm about to say sounds very, very harsh. But I care but don't care.

[00:00:14] I want to get to the point where like, like I said, like leaving her with something valuable but I want to get to the point where yeah, I left her with some money but I left her

[00:00:24] with so much peace of mind and knowledge and taught her so much shit that I wronged her for other men. She ain't getting married. She not getting remarried because she you're afraid she ain't gonna meet a nun motherfucker like me.

[00:00:35] How the fuck I would hope that I did that but I'm gonna hold you. I don't think. You know, I'm not gonna say that my wife will get remarried if I was to pass. Welcome to another episode.

[00:00:55] According to Wes podcast, as always, we got B law barely making it from around the corner. Hey man, I made it is. I made it is. What are your top three anxieties as a husband and father slash father figure? My top three anxieties. Yes. Oh God.

[00:01:30] I don't know. That's a tough one. How's that? So excited. They on the top of your head man every day, every day. All day. Three anxieties. Not pissing off my wife. That's the first one. I think the second one will be is not making my wife mad.

[00:01:53] That sounds like number one. Yeah, no, no, but they're different. They're different. They're different. And making sure the wife happy. Yes. So all your anxieties is if you fucking up you fucking up. And her being mad at your fucker.

[00:02:14] That's what you that's those are your anxieties about being a father figure slash father and husband. Those are your three. I missed the father figure part. I said the father. I said that first. I don't know.

[00:02:30] I mean, I only been a father figure for three years and some change maybe four or five. But you know, but at the same time as a man, you have had to thought about like, yo, like, oh, shit, if I have a daughter, make

[00:02:44] sure she stay off the pole or, you know what I mean? Make sure she ain't pregnant at 13. Those are the legit. Those are legitimate anxieties. Yeah, no, those are legitimate anxieties. But in on the same aspect of it.

[00:03:01] With the music that I would assume my daughter would be listening to they encouraged being on the pole and she would be like, oh, well, you know, it's easy. I just got a mess with guys and blah, blah, like the rational behind it. They I don't know.

[00:03:17] I think like somebody was saying today. Matter of fact, no, we wasn't to my say that we were looking at Kevin James comedy today. And he's your wife. Yeah, we were near her. You got a Netflix thing. He got a I think it was Amazon Prime.

[00:03:38] Kevin James, Kevin James never seen a stand up. I know who he is. King of Queens, but I've never seen like his stand up. It's good. It was pretty good. And he was just saying like it's harder.

[00:03:51] You know, it's not like old school where, you know, you could discipline your kids and take off the belt them niggas be scared. He's like, no, you take off the belt. It's like, oh my gosh, no, you got to put them in time out.

[00:04:02] Now you can't even put them in time out. You got to put him if he called it time in. You know what I'm saying? Like you sit next to them, you hold their shoulder and and comfort them for being bad. I was like, yeah. Yes, it's crazy.

[00:04:20] You know, on the low, the whole world is turned into that. The whole world is turned into. The whole world literally has turned into accept me for accept me for everything, even the bad shit that you you know, you that's frowned upon.

[00:04:35] It used to be frowned upon and stuff like that. Right. And I'm starting to see that more and more as I get older. And lately I've been thinking like not to go off on a tangent. Is that what all generations see? Like, is that what our parents seen?

[00:04:53] Is that what their parents seen? Like just the world getting softer decade after decade or generation after generation. But and if that's the case, is that only because of advancements and technology and medicine and shit like that? Or is the world just really just getting softer?

[00:05:12] I don't know. Now the rules is getting softer to kids. That's all it is. Should the adults you got? You got to listen to the kids and the easy pickings. We can always say the kids getting softer. The adults are getting softer too. You got you got

[00:05:28] you no longer can be mean to anybody, whether they're a fuck up or not. Yeah, you no longer can tell somebody they're a fuck up because then you are you are bullying them and bullying them. It calls in more stress. It's like yeah.

[00:05:48] It's like and I hate to say it's almost like somebody a kid who who wants to use their disability, not order or whatever you go as as a crush. So, you know how like some kids are old? What they told me I have ADHD.

[00:06:08] You never display any ADHD or ADD or whatever. Now they tell you all of a sudden now you are. Now it's like you can't be mean. Like, oh my gosh, you're stressing me out. You told me one plus one is two and I think it's really three.

[00:06:21] And I can't live in a world where it's two and not three. I don't know. Exactly. And that's how I kind of see it. See the world now where it's like if you if you even remotely disagree with somebody

[00:06:36] about what their views are, all of a sudden now you're a bad guy. Just like what I remember I sent you a meme that said that the girl said that math is racist. And I was like, I'm looking at like, well, how is math racist?

[00:06:53] You know, and it's math is racist and that if someone believes that two plus two is five, then you tell them that is four, that is racist. It's not it's almost like the world now is just they gave so much leeway to so many things

[00:07:08] that all of a sudden now everything is under Microsoft. This is like saying that if me and you decide, you know what? We have meant we we're going through mental health because we can't get a sponsor for the podcast. You know, it's like. What is the thing?

[00:07:24] Yes, you could very well be going through that. Is that something to be given? Should you be given? What is the word? Uh, yeah, should you be given special privileges? And leeway and stuff like that because of it? Fuck, though.

[00:07:42] I mean, I think that's what a lot of people with a lot of them are looking for words like is. It's to a point where it's like, all right, well, this is how I feel. If you don't feel this way, is it like?

[00:08:00] There's only two episodes answered in the new season and I'm already doing a bunch of editing in my head. Like, well, I can't say. Can't say any of that shit. That's exactly what I'm talking about. We, you no longer can say what's really on your mind.

[00:08:18] That's the point. That was a whole point of that couple of that couple of seconds rant. And it doesn't matter what you do as as politically as correct as we could try to be someone's going to Nick pick at something that we say.

[00:08:34] So you might just say, which like, did you not see the meme with Trump? Huh? Have you not seen the meme with Trump where he's like, when he gets reelected, president, he's going to shut down this. He's going to do this.

[00:08:47] He's going to send these people back doing this. He's going to make it so that you if you support the LGBT community in schools and teach them that dumb shit that he called it that he's he's going to stop the funding to that school.

[00:09:01] Like he is he is like, I'm like, how the hell are you going to do this? Aren't you on investigation? Was this a meme? Was this a meme in Paris? It was it was his actual speech. But someone clipped it.

[00:09:17] Oh, so and they sent it to me as a mean. Like, oh, our short video. Put that one. OK. So I was like, oh, my Lord, I was like, oh, God, here we go with this shit. You know, honestly, I think a lot of that

[00:09:34] that super inclusive, the super inclusive stuff of being and including everyone. I think that I think that I think all of that comes from the corporate. Calm and swirl, but they just want to sell people stuff. So it's kind of like how could we not honestly believe that?

[00:09:55] Like, how could we get more products out to, you know, different group? How could we get more products out to people? Let's make them feel alienated and then let's make them feel included. So you get a lot of propaganda that makes them feel alienated.

[00:10:09] And then you get a lot of it that makes them feel included. Yo, by this, because you're now part of this group. Right. You didn't know where you belong now. This is you. You like red shirts. You wear red shirts. Here's all the like that type of thing.

[00:10:25] That's just me. I don't really know. The theory ain't really fleshed out yet all the way. It's just a thought that I have that most of the stuff is just started by people trying to sell you stuff. And I'm talking about in the sense of the

[00:10:41] the LGBTQ plus community. Well, I'm pretty sure. They got so many. They got so many letters now. I don't want to keep up. Yeah, I'm not I'm not saying it's that. I'm not saying the year towards that, but just in general,

[00:11:02] like, you know, like if like everybody wins and you get a trophy at the end of the year when you play basketball, now you sell them with trophies with more kids. Get trophies instead of just one team. You know what I mean?

[00:11:12] Like stuff like that. That's what I. Right. That's right. Like I said, I really fleshed it out. Well, back on topic. You have no three top three anxieties is what you're telling me. My top three anxieties as far as being married and being a parent is,

[00:11:31] I mean, honestly, just not not upset. What's going on in here? And then, you know, money and then, you know, regular shit, nothing out of the ordinary. You know, like, oh, it's traveling. It's just a regular shit. So so will you say not upsetting anything up in here?

[00:12:00] What does what does that mean to D? Oh, what is not upsetting the stuff that's going on in there? You know, I don't know. Father and a wife. I'm bothering a wife. You know, bother her. Yeah. You make it seem like she beat you at night or something.

[00:12:19] You know, is it like I got to a lot of people. It's a very delicate thing you have when, you know, you live with somebody. So that shit ain't that delicate. My it can't be delicate enough. You know what? You know what I got to do?

[00:12:34] The only thing I got to do is make sure that the problems like I can say my shit. The main things that probably occur. Damn, what are the main things that are about me? The main things that probably occur about me is I don't know.

[00:12:58] She'll tell you she don't have anything. It will have to be that I'm just too. I'm always doing something. I'm not sitting. I'm not taking time to like relax and chill with her and stuff like that. That's the main thing that works her.

[00:13:09] Yeah, I mean, it bothers my wife to as far as like all this organization, she says I have. But as far as that cliche shit that they women say, men, you know, they don't be cleaning about themselves. There's nothing that I don't talk to me about that.

[00:13:27] I'll talk to her about that. Hey, I've seen some niggas that that don't clean up at themselves. I lived with a bunch of them. So I know when when look. When you live with seven of a guys or eight of the guys and you go into a bathroom

[00:13:52] and you you worry about catching tetanus when you go and take a shower. You know, you're in some nasty shit. I just could never do that, man. I bought this. I could never do that. Is this something about sitting your ass on the same seat

[00:14:06] that your roommates at the same toilet seat, your roommates at the same. That's another role, man. It wears me out. It wears me out. Maybe if you would like not gonna say a teenager, but like but out the wild after like twenty two, twenty three.

[00:14:22] Well, no, man, I didn't say no fucking same bathroom with you. Well, you know, for when I was living in the fraternity house, two people had master bathrooms and the other six of us shared two bathrooms. There's no fucking way I am sharing a bathroom with three guys.

[00:14:41] Two other guys. There's no way. No way. There is no way, especially right after the nigga take a shit or something. It's no way. No way. You barely want to smell lady shits. So no way. I am. You barely want to. I get it, man. I get it.

[00:15:09] But yeah, man, you know, bothering your wife, you want to keep the peace in the house, which is definitely understandable. I'm the same way. Every relationship goes to, you know, goes about it differently depending on what's the major stressors and shit like that.

[00:15:27] But even a piece is a fucking major thing. I mean, I can always ask Mrs. Smith, what's her three biggest stressors? No, this is you. Oh, it's me. She might say you. Oh, I know she's going to say me. I got my mind.

[00:15:45] I got my mind that I'm one of her biggest stressors. And but, you know, I think the perspective of of how guys look at a lot of stuff and how women look at it is is different. Like for us, some of the things that bother them

[00:16:00] aren't the same that bother us almost. That's so like my wife's like, oh, my gosh, like you have all your stuff on top of your dresser. And it's like, oh, all right. But you see all the stuff on top of dresses like, oh, all right.

[00:16:13] And stuff on your dresser is not to you. It's not really bothering you. It's like, you know what, you know what stresses me as a husband. And and this is also some surface level shit. Why am I top three? What am I?

[00:16:27] Getting to my wife's car is no fucking gas in that bitch. Each and every fucking time. And it's never like, OK, we're about to hop in the car and go somewhere is we got to go get gas first. I'm like, God, I am.

[00:16:40] So now of course, because of that night now I got to find a gas station that I think is deemed to go to. And it's none of the ones that's close to us. So we got to go out our way go to a gas station, well lit.

[00:16:53] Not too much shit going on. I have to get out of the car, pump the gas, all that shit. And I'm paying for anxiety. But no more money is way exactly what happens. What? No reason, no reason. I'm like, how each and every time you would think.

[00:17:18] But it is like, nah, I need gas. I need gas. But not for me. Surface much. I got some surface level shit like surface level shit when it comes to that. One one of my top ones is getting beat out my shoes by another man

[00:17:45] in front of my family. Like that's that is a wild thing to think about. I get beat out. Getting beat out your shoes like it's different from fighting with a big beat you out your shoes. Well, you don't have no shoes on. That's so crazy.

[00:18:03] I shit like, I mean, I'm very learned how to throw them hands. It's not even that. Yeah, I mean, no, I mean, yeah. But it's not that that I'm worried about. It's more like my strength level, like you only get tossed around and shit.

[00:18:16] So I'm like, look, my push up one, keep all this shit going. Like, no, that's not going to happen. That's not going to happen. Shit, or another one, like, you know, like you play your kids a basketball or something like that, or one of them actually

[00:18:30] like dominating me in the sport. Hell, hell, hell. I mean, I punish my kids right after that. You you grounded. I guess I guess if I was like, you know, if I was telling my wife

[00:18:44] like I'm going to go play basketball, she was like, oh, I'm going to come watch. That would provide some anxiety because I don't want her to see me not play a good basketball game. Yo, yo, you really when you was young,

[00:18:54] you when you was young, you want the girl that you like to see you play about a good bad basketball game. Right along your wife and you like let alone my wife. I don't want her to look. I ain't going to end of that shit.

[00:19:08] I thought she was good, nigga. But you was nice. You got on this. So much. You don't miss us, nigga. You miss 15. Nigger, how are you going to get three? But how do you get three points and one was a free throw? You missed the other one?

[00:19:20] Like you could like. No way. There's no way that ain't never happened. Oh, God. Yeah, I already look my wife last year. She. But she like, yep. You right. It ain't happening. Nah, that should have fucking ruined me. Whole car ride be quiet as shit.

[00:19:44] Hey, look, if my wife came and watched me play basketball one time and I had a horrible game, I would act like I didn't. I'd be like, man, that was a, you know, shit happens already. No, she going to make sure that she let

[00:19:58] she let's me remember that I played a horrible. Nah, you got to do like how. Like, yeah. You got to do like how they did on Martin where he was fake that injury towards the end. Like, oh, nah, I can't.

[00:20:11] And I ain't lose this game because I ain't finished. My legs just hop off and like they start the car. Like what? I'm having a bad game. I didn't finish the game. You fake that injury. They get the car. Wobble into the car. Good to go.

[00:20:29] That's how you solve that. That's how you solve that. Yeah, but no, that that that. No, I'm look if my wife coming to a game, or I'm sure I'm showing out. That's what you supposed to show. I was going out. Look, I don't want to make sure

[00:20:46] that you in physical fit. I don't care if I have 10 turnovers. I'm going to have me 30 points. They're going to say, yo, sub this man out, man. But he got look, you already got to internalize. Why? Why he's doing it? Sub that nigga out, man.

[00:21:04] Yo, I get to point on me once he I want her to I don't even want her to see me be a video game. Well, look. The one thing I look because, you know, I do a lot, you know,

[00:21:17] when it comes to my wife, I do a lot of not bragging, but a lot of I used to be I used to do this back in the day. So I already know, I already know that if

[00:21:27] it came down to it and she had to watch me play even if I put up a 30 piece, she going to critique that shit. Well, you know the other guy put up 40 on you. Like he ain't playing no defense like that wouldn't have happened to me

[00:21:39] because my wife used to play basketball. Oh, I know that. Yeah, you can do that. Mine didn't. I'm good. Look, you remember that one rebound you could have got? And you let that do just get it. She'll be like your footwork was trash. You got boxing out.

[00:21:56] You're not got your hands up. You're not doing any. You're not moving side to side. Now, you're doing. Oh, no, she's just going to have to have the critiques. She's going to have the critiques of critiques. I'm telling you, I could have had them.

[00:22:10] I could have been M.J. out there. She's still going to find some. They still in that damn good. Like the arc of your fade away was trash. Well, how do you how you straight line? Like your fade away didn't even look that good.

[00:22:22] It looked all it looked all glitchy. Like, yeah, I can see it now. Oh, but. Yeah, you got it worse. Don't ever do basketball. Go bow. But I don't mind that, you know. With the amount of tries I talk about basketball and that,

[00:22:41] like my wife, my wife will still be like, oh, I'm better than you in basketball. So I'm like, are you serious? So we've never gone out and actually played. I did that the first day. I'm also not a first degree day in spring.

[00:22:55] We all could have did it the other day. So I'm also not to like, let me go out there and go play. Because you know, my wife's the same size as me. I don't want her really boxing me out.

[00:23:03] She only got to give me one good box out and then I won't get an end of it for the rest of our lives. No, just don't go just know what you need to do. Like most old older guys, don't go for rebounds. Just perfect the shot. Man.

[00:23:21] Let her get the rebounds and then trash talking when she trying to go back up with a, you know, when she trying to score. But don't trash talk her in the trash talk way like we would trash talk other men.

[00:23:32] Be like, that's why you should have what a other perfume. I like that one better. She'll miss the shot. Why the white socks? Why not the pink ones? I like you in pink. She'll miss the side. Oh my God. You be good to go. It works.

[00:23:49] I'm telling you, I have not tried it out, but I think it works. What sport did your wife play? Softball, softball and some other shit. Oh, you want to was a cheerleader? OK, yeah. She did something else and I don't remember.

[00:24:07] You know, my wife was an unofficial cheerleader. She she cheered for like, you know, her, you know, when she would go offside and the guys we play and they made them keep scores. She would cheer for like, oh my God. Yeah, you know, who do you know?

[00:24:25] What are you doing? OK. I'm in the field tomorrow. I might not I might not get to it until I get home. It's for me. Thank you. So, Mrs. Smith, you think you still can beat me in basketball? I probably not.

[00:24:48] But I think I can get some points on the board. Some points on the board. Yeah. See, this is why I don't play here in basketball, because if she get more than like for me, I won't hit the end of it.

[00:25:01] She'll be like, you didn't let my son score any. I scored four. Like, look, funny man. Yo, what? Mrs. Smith is a competitor. And that's why I like it. Mrs. Smith is a competitor. Like she, no, she ain't laying down for nobody. She shouldn't.

[00:25:23] No, she going out there. She going to compete and let her let her school me. Yeah, I told you I was going to school. But no, you know, yo, another one of my surface level anxieties. And this is all stuff that I kind of think about.

[00:25:42] Not nothing serious, but. My wife thinking she got where the pants privileges where the pants privileges. Yeah. Wow. What? A lot of problems could come from that. She knows what it would surprise you to go to bed. That's my wife. That's what that's my wife told me today.

[00:26:10] She was like, like we were watching church and I like and I was like laying on the sofa. She's like, babe, just get in the bed. It might just like 10 o'clock and I'm like, I was just like, OK. And she's fucking up her sofa, man. That's different. Yeah.

[00:26:30] I mean, this is a good sofa. It's a nice sofa. You know what I'm saying? So I get it. Oh, don't fuck this shit up, nigga. You know what I'm saying? I said. What I mean by where the pants privileges is more of us like

[00:26:45] not I mean, I kind of mean that. I got so much better story, I guess about it. More or less like. Not that she telling you what to do, but. It's the mindset, it's the attitude to go behind it.

[00:27:00] She she talks, she talks to you the other way just because she feels like she wear the pants. And that's what she got to do, because a lot of women. Not all, but a lot of women do that when they feel like, yo.

[00:27:13] I really got to listen to you because I make women why I'm sparring you or I make money. You know, you don't give women that. But I think that's a lot more of the younger modern ones. Like, I think. No, that's some overjoints like that too, man.

[00:27:29] I mean, well, I put this. I've never acted that way, whereas like I can just talk to you in a type of way just because I make business in this. She still is like, hey, well, you know, here's things that I expected.

[00:27:43] It's, you know, like more of like expressing her expectations. And that's what I think that's what we really do is just this is my expectation. And if you don't agree with it, then we kind of talk it out. You know, it is.

[00:28:01] You know, like, I'm in agreement as long as she don't dunk on me. We good. Do. As long as you don't do what we good, because, you know, that's embarrassing. If my wife just like one day just like, all right, let's go one on one.

[00:28:18] And I'm just being late. Man, you just bad. Oh, I know. Now, I hope I don't start and she gets it. She starts elevating on me. I'd be like, no, this nigga ain't and she don't go me. I would go home. Like this game.

[00:28:32] This is how you this is how you. If anybody out there, you good, but this is how you say face. She does that. You just grab her midsection. You go like this and you take her to the car just like this and you leave.

[00:28:45] And I know by going to say shit. No, I'm saying shit. They're like, OK, I mean, he handled that pretty well. He had that pretty well. But yeah, I like. My shirt was awesome surface. Oh, shit.

[00:29:04] Like that ain't really shit that keeps me that keeps me up at night. But it's that's some shit I be thinking about. But like my. Like one of my serious things is, of course, with anything not leaving them with like anything valuable, like when I pass away

[00:29:26] and I don't mean like money or anything like that. I mean, I do mean money, but that's not the only thing. Like, you know, like wisdom, good morals, like things that they can always, you know, refer back to if they go through our time and shit like that.

[00:29:41] Like just a good understanding about life. I was one of the things that. Like because I think about my nephew now since I am somewhat of a father figure. But like my nephew in my future kids, that's what that's the

[00:29:55] that's the that's one of the things that I. Would love to leave behind, but of course, as me being an adult and not really knowing what that looks like right now, that shit does give me anxiety. Like, should I be talking to my nephew more about what?

[00:30:14] Like he six, like how do I start that shit up now? You know what I mean? Like that type of thing. Like the money thing is going to be what it is. I either leave you some money or I don't. Right. So I don't know.

[00:30:27] Like I do worry about that. I do worry about leaving my wife here by herself not having anything for me. I work for the, you know, where I work at. I got it's already $50,000 on my head. So, you know, it's like she wouldn't be bad off.

[00:30:44] But $50,000 only gets you but so much, you know what I'm saying? I get it in the end and in retrospect, 50,000 back with my mom when I was younger, younger, like in the nineties. 50,000. Yeah, you could get a funeral done on that.

[00:31:02] And so I had like another 45,000 still left. Now that 50,000 only is enough to get the pot. Not not even the venue. You know, you bet. You better hope that you you you were really in good with the church that you went to and they know who you are.

[00:31:25] So they'd be like, well, you know what? You know, there was a real value member. So we'll give you like an 80 percent discount. And here you go. But the the the hearse, you know, the cast, like I told my wife, I said, look, I get it.

[00:31:38] You want to get one. Everybody get one last look at me alive. I told her to creamate my ass. You said that. Yeah, creaming me. It's cheaper. You ain't got worry about a plot. Yeah. You know, you ain't got you ain't worry about a plot.

[00:31:57] But look, put me put me on your nightstand. So I'm always with you. You know what I'm saying? She's definitely not doing that. The nightstand. You know what? She don't want to accidentally knock you down because that can happen. Maybe that's why. No, come on out.

[00:32:15] Maybe not maybe not the nightstand. Look, it might be the one time she can knock me over, you know, because I'm 30 now. So oh my gosh. Yo, I definitely think about the like as far as like my wife definitely leaving her money and shit like that.

[00:32:34] And I know what I'm about to say sounds very, very harsh. But I care about don't care. I want to get to the point where like, like I said, like leaving her with something valuable. I want to get to the point where.

[00:32:48] Yeah, I left her with some money, but I left her with so much peace of mind and knowledge and taught her so much shit that I wrong her for other men. She ain't getting married. She not getting remarried because she afraid

[00:32:58] she ain't going to meet another motherfucker like me. How the fuck I want to. I would hope that I did that, but. I don't hold you. I don't think. It you know, I'm not going to say that my wife will get remarried if I was the past.

[00:33:19] But I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want her not to get remarried. I want her to use the niggas. I don't want her to. But if she got remarried, I want her to be like, yeah, you're nothing like my first husband.

[00:33:33] Like, you know, you tell them motherfucker that every day. That's what I want. You deal on the heavy screw to screw in. He did it. It took his gloves. Exactly. That's what I that's what I want her to see. Look, deal on the dumpster for me

[00:33:52] instead of us taking it together. Exactly. You know, we'll say nice. That's what I. I mean, ultimately, that's what I want. That's just me. Like, I want to have that much of an impact on her life that she be like, God, I always think it's trash.

[00:34:08] I mean, I would say, depending on when I go and hopefully it's not while I'm young, um, I would I will if I would let's say I was to go tomorrow. You know, I would hope she would get remarried and find some

[00:34:25] and find somebody because at the end they she still, you know, she still has a whole lot of her life ahead of her. Now, if this is when I'm like 70, 80, 90 years old. No, I don't want you find nobody else because no. It's a few to laugh, but I.

[00:34:42] You know, speaking of that, speaking of that, my homey his grandmother like passed away last year, right? Right. And he was telling me the other day he was like, yeah, my mom and aunt or anger and shit. My grandfather went on a date the other day.

[00:35:01] I was like, what am I here? I'm like, that nigga 80 some he went on a date. I was five or guys I'm like, I was like, was was was they the same age? He was like, yeah, apparently.

[00:35:16] And he was like, you know, he said he know how to say it's not that he said he know how to take it. That like that particular friend, he, um, he believes a man can have more than one wife, right? So really?

[00:35:31] No, he tries to live his life that way. So. And his head, he just saw that as more what is the word validation? I'm like, your granddad like obviously probably has something on the side or something or whatever have you because

[00:35:49] who the hell goes on a date and, you know, that not that fast, but just like he out with a chick at, you know, 80 some years old. So like I want to go to the grandma dad. Listen, I'm not a bad friend. I want to say.

[00:36:11] I was last year because I remember when the type of quote that I wore. So I'm going to say it's about a year. So I mean, I don't mean that grandpa has somebody laying, you know, all you.

[00:36:24] You know, there's there's like whole websites for like these older folks. You know, he's not the website type of type of guy. Look, my father-in-law always has a woman like I mean, it happens like. Hold on. You hold on. No, no, no, no, you said that wrong.

[00:36:39] You know who my father-in-law? What are you saying right now? He keeps a different one. Oh, father, you know what I thought you said? Stepfather, I got it. No, I got scared. I was like, yo, I was like, what are you? I got scared. Yeah, that's.

[00:37:00] Remember because I remember your wife. Is it okay? Because I talked about it before because I remember she said the some some this my pussy money or some shit like that. Like he can't get his money right. And for some reason, I was not thinking clearly.

[00:37:17] And it wasn't the brain wasn't firing the right way. I thought you said stepfather. I was like, boy, you ain't with that nigga. So he got. That's what I said. You go to go over the finjure fucking mom. You ain't go whoopsies.

[00:37:31] I will say that each time that I have seen him, it is with a different woman. And the one that I thought that it was going to kind of go a long way with I think the family kind of didn't.

[00:37:44] I'm not going to say they didn't like him. But I think at a certain point, they were like, well, why are you just kind of digging out to be getting married and she kind of like broke it off. Well, he wanted to marry her for her family.

[00:37:55] So her not to. Oh, OK, so he wants to marry. Come on now. They too old for the cheat to go off. Let that shit influence her. They should have. I got I got an uncle like that.

[00:38:09] Like every time it was a every time is a function or whatever. It was just a rotation. He had a rotation. So we knew the rotation. It wasn't like none of them was not friends with them, you know, cool with the family and this, this and that.

[00:38:22] And they all knew about each other. Rotation. He did not do anything with all of them together. It was just that they all knew this was what it was. This is what it is. It is what it is. Right. Young and old too. One was older than him.

[00:38:36] Two was older than him. Two was a one his age and another younger. I'm like, God, I am up. Yeah, I can't do that even. But yo, live your life. If you like. And I'm. Yeah, man. Thank you. Yeah, man. Not leaving them with something valuable.

[00:39:07] That's like one of my. That's how I mean, I hope to leave my wife with something. I mean, I mean, that's part of reason why I got the business. Is because at least. There's something, you know, saying it's not like I left with that.

[00:39:23] Like, yeah, you got to manage the business, but at least. It's more income coming in. If that's the. You know, sorry. Yeah. So. That's kind of how I look at it. Yeah, another one of my things is like. Of course, like the. The one that's

[00:39:46] near and dear to every man's heart is not given, you know, the kids or. You know, the kids, the stuff they didn't have were not being able to get your wife like the shit that she, you know, not the finer things, but you know what I mean?

[00:39:59] Like the stuff that she would want to see and do and stuff like that. Like that's always. That's always at the top. Oh yeah, I will. Like when my nephew needs not that I'm, you know, paying for everything.

[00:40:11] But more or less like, yo, if you need to call your uncle for some, he got you like that type of thing. But my kids, I would definitely want them to have what I didn't have.

[00:40:20] So that would be more of a conscious effort to be like, you're not going, you know, not the material things were just like the. Like I never got to do you. You got to do you. So if my son and my daughter want to do you guess what?

[00:40:36] That you won't find a way for you to do you. I should be able to have a way for you to be like, you know, like shit like that. So it's kind of like that's one of my things.

[00:40:47] And like you said, too, that's probably why I work as hard as I do, just to make sure that I'm able to do the regular shit that regular families do. Not regular families, which you give me. I mean, yeah, I can't not regular families.

[00:41:01] Who's to say who's regular or not? But. Yeah, man. Definitely one of my. Yeah. One of those things the wife, you know how that should go. Make sure you can get due to gifts when you can do the gifts. Surprises, stuff like that. Good food, mainly good food.

[00:41:24] Nails every now and then. Like that's just that's just the that's the basics. You want to make sure you're able to do that shit. As much as I don't want to do it. Yeah, make sure you're able to do it.

[00:41:37] I just had to listen, I got here with a double. When you did that today, Nails, I got no gas. I'm like, yo, why don't you fucking take some? I don't want to fucking guess. Well, you know, how does she go? Yeah, how does she go? Yeah, man.

[00:42:05] Protecting and providing the number one thing. Oh, yeah. I mean, don't nobody want to get beat up in front of your wife. Don't nobody want to be broke. Don't nobody want to be here. Those are some those are some very valid anxiety points.

[00:42:20] So I can be up front of your wife as well, too. I was just on my kids, but I didn't think about my wife. I only think about that. That happened. It's not even that it's just more of us like

[00:42:32] they will literally have to sneak because I'm not antagonist. And that's just not at all. Not at all. I ain't saying talk your way out of that shit, but you as a man should be able to deescalate that if you can. But all right, let's roll out.

[00:42:50] I ain't got time for this shit. I think if I was going to get if I was about to get in a fight, my wife. It ain't letting any of that happen. Like it should be like, no, we ain't doing that. Who who what's going on?

[00:43:04] No, I got this. This is what's going to happen. Like she she she be right there in the mix. Mind you, I would deescalate it. I wouldn't let it get but so far. Like there's very few times my wife has even even seen me

[00:43:20] get bothered by somebody to be like, I think I'm going to go fight this person. But at the end of the day, she's not going to she by the law that happened. You know, I put up somebody's name. You heard it.

[00:43:34] She don't mind putting a foot up somebody's ass anyway. So I don't I don't see my wife ever let me let. First off, I think before my wife would ever let me get into a fight, she will be she will more than likely

[00:43:55] almost start to try to deescalate the fight. Like, no, no, no, let's go. Let's go unless unless there was some very, very, very disrespectful shit said this, you might be like, no, nigga. How your wrist feels off, right?

[00:44:09] It's flared up now we about to beat niggas asses out here. Like it had to be some real disrespectful shit. But if it was something I think honestly, if it was something that we could walk away from, she'll be all for walking away from it.

[00:44:22] But it had to be somewhere is like, no, nigga, we can't let that shit slide. We can't we not we ain't we ain't no suffers. It would have to be something like that. Yeah, I've always so not so like, man,

[00:44:35] only talk about that shit, not often, but we talked about it before. I think I've been talking to my wife about I'm like, yo, I am only fighting for self preservation of you and me. I could be all types of bitches.

[00:44:49] I know I'm not like, I'm like, yo, and I got to work. I work, I work hard. I fight easily lead to me throwing a bunch of shit away. You fall and hit your head in the concrete. Now I killed you.

[00:45:02] Now somebody killed me like I got time for that shit. I won't go home. I want to, you know, continue your life. Yeah, I don't really see anything outside of that anger in me that much to not us alive because I really wanted to fight that dude.

[00:45:22] That was the last time when I wanted to fight that dude in the volume. It's from my told you the story. Yeah, oh man, I really wanted to fuck his ass up. But I was at work and I wasn't supposed to be there anyway, because I swear.

[00:45:36] Oh, and I had all crocs. I was like, oh, there's so many things saving him right now. That was the last time in a long time that I really wanted to fuck some of you up.

[00:45:46] And even then, I as thin as he was, I probably could have killed him. And that's how much that's how angry I was. Because I'm not yo, I'm just in here trying to get some fucking ash with Gondor.

[00:45:59] Like that's the only I mean, I was trying to get some CBD. I like that's the only reason. Yeah, he was looking for ash with Gondor. I was like, I'm just in here trying to get some CBD. I don't even know what ash for God is.

[00:46:11] You should try it, man. It's a move stabilizer helps with inflammation. Good for men. You sure? I used to take some ash for Gonda blended ash for Gondon probiotics. It's real good. It's making you take good shifts. Probably honest, make you take good shifts off the rip.

[00:46:32] I mean, I'm a biotics and I clearly ain't taking but so many good shifts until I'd have a drink and then it's like it is almost like water or drink, drink, drink, drink. No, no, no, no, no, this put this in your regiment. See, leave me a husk.

[00:46:48] And go ahead and text that to me. I stopped drinking for five days. You know, I took the probiotics. I know not instantly is your body going all of a sudden start giving you great shifts. No. So the thing is, the probiotics help with your gut

[00:47:05] biome, it helps put the good shit back in there. It's not going to help you shit. I was put the good shit back in there. Fiber helps you shit. Right fiber. I mean, I know I got it.

[00:47:18] I know when I took my shit today at that, you know, because I was out drinking because, you know, I watched the Royal Rumble also for anyone listening. The tribal chief did when that fatal four way Bailey did when the women's

[00:47:30] Royal Rumble and Cody Rose, which I felt like he shouldn't have, but he won two years in a row. I'm like, come on, really? Like really about the WWE won the Netflix. Well, I feel like I'm on the Netflix.

[00:47:46] Like I told somebody else, I think that's just another way for Netflix to raise their price more. And me and Mrs. Smith are really on the fence if we're really going to keep Netflix at this point because it was like it's going up every four months.

[00:48:00] You know, y'all is not going up every four months. So when me, so when me and my wife got together, when we were living in seven, that was a long time ago, though. So it went up two times. It was four years ago.

[00:48:15] It went up two times since then. It's gone up four times since then. Come on, no add that. Because when she because when she got her Netflix, it was about 1799 or 1999? 1999. That's now for like 24. It's 24. 99 is gone up by like 50 cent.

[00:48:33] Which one are y'all paying for the four K shit? I don't know. What is that? What is that? Yeah, that's a four K quality is two different versions of the non ad drink. Y'all probably paying too much off the rib anyway. Let me see some.

[00:48:48] The not doing there's a four K nine. I don't know. Yeah, I've never seen that. I never seen either. Let me see some. Because I think y'all playing too much regardless. Let's see. I'm just not allowed in my account to be charged for us. I'm also my OSHA.

[00:49:08] So none of you know, I just know that's different. Right, right, right. So there's the standard. There's the premium and then there's the watch and ultra HD yet a premiums the watch and ultra HD, which is like 4K.

[00:49:24] The one would ask is the cheapest one, but the standard is the basic. You can only watch it on two TVs. Which one are y'all? Y'all probably got that premium. I think we have premium, but it's not 4K. It's not it's not premium 4K.

[00:49:41] So the ultra HD should be at least the bottom tier of 4K like two one nine nineteen shit, what is it? Two I forget the aspect ratio, but it should at least be the bottom tier 4K because 4K is like four thousand by four thousand.

[00:49:57] That's the what it's supposed to be. But the bottom tier is like two by two thousand something by nineteen. Twenty four thirty seven twenty seven twenty four thirty seven twenty four thirty seven. Yeah, that's the premium because the standard is fifteen ninety nine fifteen forty nine

[00:50:15] fifteen forty nine. And that's what's it's no, that's without ads. The ads one is six ninety nine. That's right. OK, all right. So we got the pre so why we have the premium? How many TVs can you get on the nineteen nine?

[00:50:33] But it's going to go up like every time they go up. Oh, because that's right, because you because it was more than one. Yeah, yeah. Let me tell you I had a TV. I think it go you got to pay more. Is I know I have.

[00:50:46] What I think is I think is you can't watch it more than two TVs at one time. Like we don't really watch Netflix on more than two TVs at one time, unless someone else has the passcode.

[00:50:58] Like I mean in theory kind of was Stephanie using that one point. No, no. Like we generally if me and you're watching that like David doesn't really watch Netflix, you know, and honestly, if we're watching Netflix, generally we're watching it together. Really? Yeah, so. I mean, is.

[00:51:17] I mean that one that would have that streaming service is yours. So yeah. Yeah, I just did that to you. I mean, because I pay for everything else. I pay for the Disney plus the Hulu and the Paramount. So I got a pair.

[00:51:36] I'm on my sister Paramount joint. I do the plus I do the Hulu, the Disney plus the Peacock. I do that one too. So I pay for the other ones. Don't the other.

[00:51:48] I mean, Netflix is really the next one's the only one that you that you pay for. So the ultra HD is three eighty forty by twenty one sixty. So that's still four K, but they can't call it four K because it's not four thousand by four thousand.

[00:52:03] It's like the beginning of four. But if you have none of that shit is coming in through four K and it don't look good on your fucking TV, you don't need to have. You know, yeah. That's my opinion.

[00:52:16] Like if I don't see if y'all downgrade and don't see a difference, then what the fuck will there? Well, yeah, I'm going to say if no one else like if no one else has a pass go to Alice, you know.

[00:52:28] I mean, worst case scenario, if, you know, in my job, our child, generally he's playing he's playing a video game. So and if he is watching Netflix, it's after we go to sleep. Yeah. So it's not like he's it's not like any even if he was watching

[00:52:45] at the same time as us, we're we're all watching. Yeah, watching it together. Me and her watching it together. We're not watching on two separate TVs. Because I'm down here on the big TV. I'm generally playing video games on watching Hulu or some other stuff.

[00:52:59] So it's yeah, I mean, it's I mean, bar on those rare examples where we would all be watching something different. But that's very rare, very, very, very rare that we're all watching Netflix at one time, you know, with all the streaming that we have. Like I watch HBO.

[00:53:27] I watch all the other stuff stars, you know what I'm saying? I miss watching TV. We watch this shit no more. And it's not even by choice. But so raw coming to Netflix. Yeah, I feel like it's going to go up too much.

[00:53:47] Oh, no, because this is Netflix's angle to get into the live streaming service. Right. So I don't know if you're going to broadcast raw live, then what you're really doing is not the ads. The ads, the way I see it, I don't think the premium will go up.

[00:54:07] I think the ads tier might go up because how do you substitute any of that? How do you bring in more money? You bring in they bring they bring it in money because of the ads.

[00:54:16] They made a lot of money this last year because of the ads here. I mean, but even with the no ads, like if you're going to, it's going to be like a Peacock Paramount Plus,

[00:54:25] where they'll just show the ads that are being shown on the TV at that time. So what I'm saying is the premium might not go up because the ad is going to add stuff is going to subsidize all of that.

[00:54:40] So when you start to get more live stuff, you can have more ads. Does that make any sense? You think you kind of understand? So I doubt Netflix would do that because companies agree. But theoretically, there should be no need for any of this shit

[00:54:54] to go up as long as they continue to bring in stuff. Like all they need to do is start bringing in UFC shit since they are all the same company right now. And yeah, yeah, I have the option to pay for pay review shit.

[00:55:07] Like, oh, OK, well, Netflix, I get the pay review of, you know, I can get this event without having cable. So I don't know. We'll see if they got the servers and stuff like that. But, you know, they did that Chris Rock joint live.

[00:55:24] That was the first live thing that they did. Yeah, did you all see that? No, we saw it after the fact. But I ain't see it yet. We were we were in Baltimore on when it was live. But we were doing something totally different.

[00:55:39] We weren't there to watch that. We were like we were going to like one of the little one of the markets they have in Baltimore. OK. So, you know, like they got like a Lexington market, Mount Vernon, some other stuff.

[00:55:55] So we were at one of those and we went to like get some food. But yeah, we saw we saw it along live for Chris Rock. I think I think her aunt was at it. I'm Kim was at it. Her aunt was at it.

[00:56:17] And so it live her and her, you know, they went there. And so they say it was pretty good. I mean, you know, I watched it online, you know, on Netflix after the day after. But yeah, yeah. I forgot what I. Got what I was about to say.

[00:56:48] But yeah, I. Yeah, I forgot what I was about to say. I forget I went on that. I think about Netflix. I forgot what I was about to say. Yeah. Well, I don't know. I want to say we may have to wrap this up because I don't remember.

[00:57:16] We've been talking for a while. Yeah, for an hour and a half. Isn't that long? Yeah. I mean, if we want to recap, you know, the Ravens fans were mad. They threatened to stab me because I'm a skins fan.

[00:57:32] And I said, well, you know, hey, I ain't hit that part. You they threatened to stab you. Yeah, man. Yeah, you know, the Ravens fans are crazy. No, I know they are, but I must have missed that fucking part. She was like, you know what?

[00:57:45] Like the dude I know in there, he was like, yeah. My girl a little bothered because the skin, you know, you keep you talking about how the Ravens are going home with the skins. You know, she told me I want to stab everybody is not a Ravens fan.

[00:58:01] I'm like, well, that's a little excessive. I mean, you it's a lot of jail time to be stabbing everybody. That's not a Ravens fan. You know, might ask because stabbing is very. Well, you know, you know, scientifically they say that women do more stabbing than you know, guys.

[00:58:27] I'm glad you want to say page. And we will take it a step further. What am I about to say next? Thank you, everybody for listening to us. We'll see if she was black. No, she was white. Rockies.

[00:58:48] But you knew she like at the end of the day, I know you knew she was white because only only a white woman would feel so comfortable to say that. I'll tell you. Everybody in like, you know, if you're not really I want to fucking stab you guys.

[00:59:04] I want you guys to get stabbed. Oh, my God. Of course you're white. Well, I mean, come on. Well, like, come on. Well, you thought it was a black one. I didn't know black one. But the black people, you know, the black people. It was chill. Exactly. Exactly.

[00:59:27] Because you want to know why? Because we used to let. We used to let down. This is what it is. Look, I hate to say it that way. I was like, all I said was I'm just glad that, you know,

[00:59:40] everyone that I know that likes, you know, that likes these teams that aren't the skins, I'm glad they're home with us. That's all I said. It's a crazy thing. Why not be? Why not be not thankful, but why not be happy that you got team

[00:59:56] had a good fucking season, not like most and it's promising this franchise right now. Mm hmm. And I think what I would like to do, but, you know, you know, a lot of Ravens fans were like, you know, everyone was drinking Joe Flacco, Kool-Aid, the patching

[01:00:13] my home school. And the one thing I kept trying to tell, you know, the Ravens fans was, you got to understand, like I get that you guys have dominated a lot of teams in the regular season, but that's exactly what that is. The regular season.

[01:00:29] There's a reason why they call it the playoff. In a lot of these teams, if you can't if you can't step up and and be in be that good team, it is, you know, you you're you're you're begging to be
